MacOs Safari 14 freezes when adding page to Bookmarks or Reading List

MacOs Safari 14 freezes when adding page to Bookmarks or Reading List.

Also it freezes when switching between tabs in Safari Preferences and when switching between Extensions in Preferences.

It happens on both of my Macs (MBA13 early 2015 and MBP 15' 2019) that run the latest Catalina.

This is what happens in Console when I add page into Bookmarks:

MacBook Pro 15”, macOS 10.15

I've been running into similar freezes on the Extensions preference tab - a beach ball which eventually is resolved by the message:

Skipping Automatic Inspection Candidate with pageId(16) because we failed to receive a response in time.

In my case the issue went away after unchecking "Develop > Automatically Show Web Inspector for JSContexts". I guess I enabled a while ago to debug something but forgot to disable it - would have expected that setting to not be sticky across Safari relaunches.

I've tried to reinstall macOs but that didn't resolve the issue.

I also reinstalled macOs from scratch and Safari worked fine, but when I migrated data from my Time Machine it started freezing as before. Therefore I just reinstalled macOs from scratch, installed all apps and moved files manually. This resolved all issues.

Looks like something in my own files/apps was breaking Safari even thought I tried to run it in Safe Boot.

Also, please see Logs for when adding to a Reading List:

You can see that there is a 10 sec delay after first 7 logs and that's the time it freezes for before adding page to a Reading List.
