accidentally deleted text conversation

So my problem is I accidentally deleted a whole text conversation and im trying to get it back because theres so many pictures in that particular conversation. I tried a 3rd part recovery app on my computer and it didn't work. My icloud storage was the default 5gigs and it was full months ago. I went into setting>appleID>icloud backup and it says "last successful backup was on July 17 2020" its September 10th 2020.


So im wondering if i restore the back up from July 17 will i regain the text conversation with all the attachment in it but also will I lose everything on my phone ex: texts, pics etc from July 17th to now? Im really bumbed out that it somehow got deleted.


Or is there some other way I can recover the deleted conversation? Any help would be really appreciated. Thanks in advance :)

Hi,

I think that a solution could be to create two alternatives back up, one in your mac/pc and one in another mac/pc. You could also make a back up on your iCloud space, but you have to create more storage (for example downloading some photo on your mac/pc).


Archive or make copies of the information you store in iCloud --- > https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT204055#photos

Need more iCloud storage? You can easily make space or buy more storage --- > https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT204247

If you need an alternative backup, you can make one in iCloud and another using your computer --- > https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT203977

I see what you were saying but I don’t want to overwrite the current backup I have on my phone from July 17.


I did Increase my storage to the 50 gig plan. I’m trying to find out if I restore that July backup will the text conversation I accidentally deleted Returned? But also at the same time if I do restore that backup will I Lose everything else from July 17th to now?
