How can I find A lost I phone

Have you tried using Find My Phone?

Find My Phone - If your device is lost or stolen.      

Find My Phone - Lock and track your device using Lost Mode.        

If you got an email stating your phone has been found, are you sure the email isn't a scam? Did it request any information such as your Apple ID and password? Someone may have found the phone and is requesting your ID and password so they can remove your ID and turn off Find My Phone.

A few Thoughts:



A. Consider Modifying your Credentials:

An eMail of that sorts would seem like no more than a scam - particularly, if it is from out of no where - whether from a personally-known individual(i.e. family member) or not. So, if you clicked on anything, most certainly consider modifying your credentials:

• Modify: your login credentials (Using Both a New eMail and a New Passwordfor each and all sites)
• Associate: a different method of payment to your account
• Enable: Two-Factor Authentication for Apple ID and for all other accounts that have such an applicable option

B. A Few Thoughts on Recovering This:

I.  Start Here:

• Locate a Lost or Stolen Device - Apple Support
• If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch is Lost or Stolen - Apple Support

II.  Getting this Back:

• Backtrack your Locations - If at a coffee shop, stop in, and ask it if was placed aside.
• Check with Local Authorities - Perhaps it was found and was turned in.
• Ask People: Ask someone you know (Family Member, Friend, Coworker, Peer, etc.)
