Have a new MacBook Pro Catalina that I want to plug my iPod nano 6 in to to upload some music - what new lead do I need to buy?

Any USB C(the usb connector on your mac) to USB A(regular USB connector) adapter will do. The advantage is that then you can also connect any other old USB Accessories to your mac
