Phone does not ring.

My iphone 8 plus will not ring. I see that in the Do Not Disturb tab there is a silence tab and it has two options silence always and silence when phone is locked. I don't want either of these two options. I want my phone to ring! Please help!

do not disturb in the do not disturb mode there are only two options : Silence: Always and While iphone is locked. there needs to be a third NEVER SILENCED unless Do NOt Disturb is on... My phone wont ring when locked. But there is no way to get it to ring. Help

My phone won’t ring when locked. Settings/ Do Not Disturb only gives me two choices under the "Silence" heading: "Always", or "Only while iPhone is locked". There is a check next to the latter and I am unable to remove it. So, my phone never rings while it is locked, and it automatically locks if I leave it for a minute or so. Is there a way to set up so that the phone rings when locked?

Why is my phone silenced when locked? My phone does not ring when locked. I have checked the "Do Not Disturb" (it's off), the silent mode button is not active and works perfectly, the speaker works (I've tried changing my ringtone), and I'm allowing calls from everyone. This began when I got a popup message after several calls in a row from a spam caller with a note from my phone saying "you seem to be getting a lot of calls - would you like to silence them?" I replied "yes". Now I can't turn that option off. Help. If my phone doesn't ring I cannot do my job.

If Do Not Disturb is not turned on, it doesn't matter which if those two options is selected.

Some other things to check:

The ring/silent switch on the left side of the phone. See: How to put your iPhone on vibrate, ring, or silent mode - Apple Support

Settings > Phone > Silence Unknown Callers: Detect and block spam phone calls - Apple Support
