How can I transfer music from my 5s to my new phone?

Is this new phone an iPhone?
Is the music from your 5s from iTunes/Apple Music? If so, you would only be able to access that music through an Apple product or application.
We used to be able to transfer music bought in iTunes to anyone and any device...but that obviously became a major copywrite/pirating issue.
If youre looking to transfer music that you did not acquire through iTunes/Apple Music, you would definitely need a laptop/desktop to complete this transfer.
