iphone x won't turn on after update to 13.6.1

I believe my iPhone X updated to 13.6.1 overnight. When I went to start my phone back up, it was stuck on the screen with the Apple logo and kept turning on and off. It would stay like this for while and then kept displaying the Apple logo before turning off again. I have tried to update/restore it using iTunes on both a Mac and a PC, but nothing is working. I get an error message in iTunes that says "the iPhone could not be updated. An unknown error occurred (14)." I do not want to restore it to factory settings and lose everything. Please help!

iPhone X, iOS 13

Error 14 is connection, either cable or Lightening port or USB socket.

As you have tried two computers you need to try another cable and inspect the Lightening port for lint etc.

(The charging pins are not the same as the data pins so just because it charges does not mean the data connection works.)
