Do I need to get a new password verification every time I access iCloud? Do I need to remember the one just given?
A new alert will pop up on your device every time you log in. You don’t need to remember it.
Also, if you are offline and need a code, go to Settings > [Your Name] > Password & Security > Get Verification Code.
