Upgrade macOS High Sierra to a newer OS

Hello

A friend recently gave me a iMac (27-inch, Mid 2011) with High Sierra. The App Store states I cannot upgrade the OS. I was wondering if there is any way to Mojave or Catalina. I am currently on version 10.13.6. If there is a way to upgrade then I would appreciate any advise.

There is no upgrade. Mojave and above require a 2012 or newer Mac.
