I keep getting charged monthly and I don't know what it is for

Another possibility is that it is for an iCloud storage upgrade from the free 5GB plan. To see what you have and to cancel if desired, see: Downgrade your iCloud storage - Apple Support


If neither of the above resolves the problem, see the other steps in the following instructions. They include information on contacting Apple Support if the other steps don't help: If you see "apple.com/bill" or an unfamiliar charge on your statement - Apple Support
