Audio controls

When I drop an audio effect (EQ for example) on an audio clip in the timeline, how do I access it's controls?

Go to the effects inspector upper right of window, click on the Volume (small speaker icon) to pull up settings for the volume of the selected clip. The mouse over the far right of the effect plug-in you added and "show" controls if it's hidden. Then click the square box with slider looking things and that should pull up the plugin window to edit etc.
