A friend of mine is trying to start using iCloud backup on her phone but it kept saying that the backup couldn’t be completed because the backup is set to be done via computer. Is there a way to change this without using a computer? She no longer has the computer that she used to link her iPhone with.

She somehow was able to complete her iCloud backup successfully when she went home and plug her iPhone in overnight. I think the battery could have been the reason why she couldn’t do it earlier at work. But I thought it was odd because the message kept saying the backup couldn’t be completed and had to be done on computer. Anyways, the issue’s been resolved. Thank you so much for your reply! :)
