iPod Classic Games Download.

Apple no longer support Clickwheel Games for older iPods. When they were sold it was on a one successful download only basis and the onus was on you to make backups. The current version of iTunes no longer has the ability to transfer Clickwheel games to or from a device,. You would have to locate iTunes 12.6.5.3 for the last version that can do that. There are some questionable sources for third party games, but I wouldn't touch them with the proverbial bargepole.

How is it that I and all other apple fanboys that bought this software can just be told well you dont really own it, too bad if you spent $5 a game?!?

If you lose a physical disk you don't expect to be able to demand a replacement. Back in the day, when bandwidth was more expensive, digital content was sold in much the same way as physical content. You get one copy, look after it. The terms of sale have mostly been changed, but that change isn't retroactive. I've still got 15 clickwheel games, backed up across several drives, and a copy of iTunes 12.6.5.3 I can install if or when I need to put them back on my classic. Later versions of iTunes can't do it.
