Apple Watch Locked

I got a new phone. Forgot about the watch. Erased the old phone. Apple watch is still paired with the old phone and won't unlock or let me get to any screen other than the watch face. I signed onto iCloud to try to go through Find My, but I never set it up for my phone or watch, so I can't use that to erase it or unpair it. Is there a way to unlock my watch?

Try this;

Press and hold both the side button and Digital Crown for about 10 seconds, then release both buttons when you see the Apple logo.Wait a few seconds, then hold down just the side button for about 20 seconds or until the “erase all settings” prompt shows up on the screen, then click it, then click the green check button.
