Apple Watch

I sold an Apple Watch to somebody and I thought I had completely reset it but they are telling me they are unable to pair it because it says it is still linked with my Apple ID. Is there any way I can unlink it away from it? This is what it says when I try to delete it from my settings

On a computer, go to iCloud.com and sign in with your Apple ID.

Go to Find Iphone.

Select All Devices, then click your Apple Watch.

Click Erase Apple Watch.

Select Next until the device is erased.

Click the remove button next to your Apple Watch.
