Im having trouble playing movies and TV programs that are stored in my library.
Other elements of the app on the Firestick 4K work fine, just not my library items.
Can anybody offer any solution to this?

Fixed it and feel really stupid.
Forgot my iTunes account has a different Apple ID from my main ICloud ID. That’s why I can see the content but won’t load. Also this was why my subscription wasn’t showing. If I sign in with the iTunes ID it’s there.

Try to sign out of your Apple account on the Firestick. Restart it then sign back in.
Ok can you clear the Apple TV app cache and data on your Firestick?
Are those library items ripped or purchased through iTunes? What codec are they using?
this doesn’t fix the problem. I also noticed that when I sign in, it not only doesn’t play my library content but it also says I have no subscriptions. But my Apple + subscription shows up on all my other devices. So frustrating.
What happens precisely when you try to play a content purchased on iTunes?
the wheel spins for ages, then I get this message. (See Pic).
ive tried all this numerous times and sadly it hasn’t helped. All other apps stream videos fine. Even the Apple TV content that isn’t in my library plays fine just not my library items.
They were purchased through iTunes on my 2nd generation Apple TV.
so whatever codec they use I suppose.
