I dropped my phone in the sink and now the screen won’t work

Apple replaces my screen for my iPhone 11. I asked them if the water resistant

was still there they said yeah. Well I dropped my phone in the sink and now it comes on but the screen won’t work

Check with the folks that work for Apple, but this iPhone is probably headed for replacement.

You should take your phone to an Apple Service Centre to see if they can repair anything but remember

  • This is accidental damage and is not covered by your warranty
  • You will have to pay for any repair and parts
  • You should always visit an Apple Authorised Repair Centre, although they may cost slightly more it is worth it as they use genuine Apple parts with genuine Apple training, it is often covered (the repair) so you know things won't go wrong
