I can not control volume of my apple tv with my iOS device that is my iPhone XS. Any suggestions??

I have 3 iphones and i have tried to control volume from all 3 iPhones, unfortunately none of them work. I can increase or decrease volume from my apple remote but not from my iOS device. Is there anything i can do??

You can get an AV receiver that supports HDMI-CEC volume control.
