How do I receive notifications from an app on do not disturb. It’s for the ring app which notifies me of motion detection from a security camera, when I have an intruder on my property. If there is no way of doing it, can it be considered fir the next update.

As you already know, turning ON Do Not Disturb will prevent notifications from displaying including from your Ring app. At this time, there is no way to exclude any particular app from Do Not Disturb.
