Did I get the cables backwards? Sorry if I did. If you got the USB-C but need the USB cable, then purchase this one.

If you simply have the wrong USB cable, you need a different cable.
The cable for the phone to put into the mac
Yes I got that with the phone but it doesn’t fit the laptop of my mac
Yes, confirming I got it backwards the first time. That info was correct for iPhone 11, but incorrect for your iPhone 11 Pro.
The second cable suggestion is the correct one.
