Can't install macOS Catalina 10.15.5
I downloaded new software, pressed to update it, it shows like the process is going on, but then
I can see that version remains the same. And my laptop suggests me to update it again

Takes noticeable longer to get to the login screen, does a 5-15 minute disk repair before it fully boots up, and certain system caches get cleared and rebuilt, including dynamic loader cache, etc. Login
The installer should be sitting in your Application folder "Install macOS Catalina.app" Launch it from there.
