I downloaded a free album from the usarmyband.com site and put the songs on an Apple formatted thumb drive. I can't figure out how to set that thumb drive up as a playlist in music. Music help was no help for this information. HELP!!!!

Not sure what the thumb drive was for. When you download tracks from a website, save them on your desktop and make sure they are in a playable format such as MP3. Then drag them to the "Automatically Add to Music" folder.
