Is it okay to leave my iPhone plugged in the charger all of the time? Or does that mess with the battery’s health?

Hello AceVentura - You can search the Internet and Apple communities and Apple help docs for answers. Many people have posted this same question about specific devices, but I believe recent lithium ion batteries behave the same.

This was the first thing that appeared on my search::

According to Battery University, leaving your phone plugged in when it's fully charged, like you might overnight, is bad for the battery in the long run. Once your smartphone has reached 100 percent charge, it gets 'trickle charges' to keep it at 100 percent while plugged in.Jun 28, 2018

In addition, Apple recommends conditioning once a month by letting battery drain to the point device shuts down. Then charge to 100% using normally.

Think of it like if a person never exercised, how would life be for them?
