Why has my macbook air stopped pairing with my iphone 11?

Anyone know why my macbook air has stopped pairing with my iphone 11. It used to work fine up until 3 days ago.

In the Apple ecosystem, that’s called “Instant Hotspot”.

Macs do not pair to iPhones.

What are you trying to do exactly? There is some other method.

I'm trying to use my mac in my flat lounge as I have always done. Sorry I meant tether. with my phone.

So tether my mac to use my unlimited iphone data allowance.

The problem is when I click on my wifi icon on my mac it no longer comes up with Iphone.

Just tried still isn't.

Have you gone through the four bullets under “Set up Instant Hotspot”? Is your iPhone personal hotspot turned on?
