Apple TV HD and homeshare

For anyone who comes across this thread with the same issue, I thought I should post the solution (at least for me)

Casting around the net I have worked out that this is some sort of known glitch. I eventually sorted it by stripping everything away including Deauthorising all of my computers, restarting everything and then building it all back up again step by step from scratch.

Afraid not, the one I am using is the only apple id I have ever had, the only one that has anything registered to it and the only one that has ever been used on any of the ATVs (including the HD and the iMac).

Real risk of losing wires down the back of cabinets it I try that. But I think it is pretty unlikely as the wifi is pretty good where the ATV HD is located.

Might be worth mentioning that Disney+ netflix etc are all fine... Just the Homeshare connection.

Sorry I'm not giving you much to work with am I. Also, yes the software is all upto date, (well as upto date as the older ATVs will accept. But they are connecting fine anyway)
