There are few if any viri that could affect macOS; usually adware, malware, or

other miscreant bad actors (installed by the user) are at play inside the Mac.

MalwareByte for Mac can help be rid of those. Basic version works great and

runs freely; I've used it many years. ~ Save yourself: Don't use Clean My Mac!!

mac doesnt get virus lol,yes there is virus out there, but very rare a mac gets hacked or virus,if u need to clean your mac,i recommend CLEAN MY MAC,i use it on all my apple machines for years and keeps everything smooth and fast, also u dont need an anti virus for mac lol its apple not windows,if it makes you feel better or safer go to app store and waste your money of anti virus for apple products lmao, which makes no difference because apple OS security is second to none its very closed eco system and hard for hackers and virus just to get in to your apple product unless your visiting porn sites or bad sites lmao or surfing dark or deep web and not knowing what your doin, maybe then u might get a virus or hacked, but 95% chance u wont get a virus on macbook or mac products unless your doing something stupid to begin wtih lmao, ive had apple for 14 years i dont even know what a virus is lmfao last i seen it when i was on windows 14 years ago lmfao..dont stress just download clean my mac, hope that helps

I would seriously recommend that you NEVER use Clean my mac or any other "cleaning" apps.

They tend to "clean" so well that they delete necessary system files leaving your Mac in a mess. Besides, Macs do not need any because they run maintenance scripts to take care of things. And, with the latest OS, such cleaning apps cannot access the files they would normally access because, as a security measure, the OS and system are now contained in a "quarantine" volume to which neither you nor anyone else has access.
