It looks like a screen failure, but we can't diagnose that kind of issue remotely, sorry.

Well, if Apple technicians diagnose that it is a manufacturer's defect AND your iPhone X is still covered by warranty, it will be repaired/replaced without charge.
But we, just users like you, can't judge about those problems.
