I have auto-updates on. Have restarted my machine numerous times. Will not update, but notifies me that there is an update to install. Help? MacBook Pro 15", Mid 2015.

Boot into Safe Mode (How to use safe mode on your Mac - Apple Support) by booting with the Shift key held down and download and apply the macOS Catalina 10.15.5 Combo Update from there.
NOTE: Safe Mode boot can take up to 10 minutes as it's doing some system cache cleaning, volume verifying and directory repairing.

If you've actually gotten 10.15.4 then what may work is (says it should) this update:

I actually have 10.15.4 installed already. The update is for 10.15.5. Software update has downloaded it, but it will not install.
Thank you for info and link with later product date; as other one, was
earlier 01 June 2020 date. So naturally newer supersedes older one!🌻
MacBook Pro won't update from Catalina 10.15.4 to 10.15.5.
