Video playback with black screen but sound on

You mentioned this is happening in Safari. Does the issue persist when using other browsers or in their specific apps?

If everything is up-to-date and you aren’t using Screen Recording, let's next look at connectivity. Does the video issue persist when connected to alternate Wi-Fi networks, or when using cellular data?
