Sharing iCloud Storage with a family member

If I share my icloud backup storage, how does the iphone that I am sharing with back up their phone? Where would they go to make sure they are using the storage I am sharing?

The family will be responsible for their own backups for their devices. As for where would they could, when you started the Family Sharing iCloud storage, you were given an option to add them.
