If my AirPods have been misplaced and their no longer on the find my iPhone app what does that mean

Does this mean that someone has stolen them and connected them to their phone is my AirPods are no longer visible on the find my iPhone app

Hello,

As already indicated, if your AirPods are out of Bluetooth range, out of charge, or in the case with the cover closed, Find My won't give a current location. You just have to find them manually by looking for them. However, Find My may list the most recent location where they were last connected.

Modify your Credentials:

I'd suspect that someone knows of your Apple ID credentials - So, modify them, ASAP:


If you have not made this change on your own, then perform the following:

  • Modify: your login credentials (Using Both a New eMail and a New Password for each and all sites)
  • Associate: a different method of payment to your account
  • Enable: Two-Factor Authentication for Apple ID and for all other accounts that have such an applicable option
