I need help with my outgoing mail on my Mac book pro

My outgoing mail will not deliver it only goes into my outbox

MacBook Pro 15″, macOS 10.13

This happens when the Mail app can’t connect to the outgoing server.


A few troubleshooting suggestions:

  • Restart Mail, Mac, WiFi router;
  • Log out of that mail account, then log in again;
  • Delete that account, then set it up as if it were a new account.
