On windows you can hit WinKey + LeftArrow (or WinKey + RightArrow) to tile windows to the left/right of screen.
On Mac, the green fullscreen button provides a similar functionality, but I wonder if there's a keyboard shortcut for this?

Thanks Barney-15E, but looks like you can only create keyboard shortcuts for menu commands.
The split screen functionality is an OS feature that's available on every window (by hovering over or clicking and holding the green fullscreen button).
It's not exposed as a menu command, so it appears there's no way to add this as a keyboard shortcut.

I think it is in some apps. I looked in Safari and they were in the Window menu.

I would imagine most third-party apps do not have those menu items, and probably some Apple apps.
