Overheating

I just bought a MacBook Pro 13' 2020 (2.0GHz Quad-Core Processor with Turbo Boost up to 3.8GHz

1TB Storage Touch Bar and Touch ID) and it's overheating no matter if I'm doing one simple task or multitasking. I have never experienced this with my old MacBook Pro 13' (2016). I don't know what to do because its the higher-end model so I wasn't expecting this at all.

Overheating is subjective. Do you have actual thermal measurements to indicate there is overheating? If the processor is actually overheating, then it will reach thermal shutdown before damage is caused.

Get some temperature measurements to post. There are many apps for that. I and others use iStat Menus.
