I have an Iphone 11 that I purchased around Christmas time and I am concerned about the screen as I have noticed a few small hairline cracks. There is no reason for these cracks to be present as I have not dropped or misused the phone in any way. Can you please advise if this is a known fault and what the process is for me to have my phone assessed to see if the phone is faulty.

Well how about I state an actual fact when you said “Have Apple examine it and watch when they hand it back to you” is in fact very rude. There are more polite ways to word what you said just a tip for the future. If glass doesn’t break unless it’s damaged then it must be faulty.
You will have get in contact with Apple directly for this issue, it will most likely have to be reviewed by Apple Genius to investigate further why this occurred.
Accidental damage is not covered by the standard warranty.

Your absolutely welcome, it's first time for personally hearing about this issue on iPhone 11 (I'm iPhone X user myself)
