Hello, I'm using Mail with my Bigpond account. How to I automatically back up my emails to iCloud?

Hello, I'm using Mail with my Bigpond account. How to I automatically back up my emails to iCloud?
You could create a Rule in Mail/Preferences/Rules to copy them to your iCloud email inbox. Sample below.
Or you could go to the email providers web site and create a rule to forward the email to your iCloud email address
There is no automatic way to do this. iCloud is designed primarily as a syncing service, not a backup, or a cloud storage, service.
