Can you download previously purchased music on itunes on your iPhone without subscribing to Apple Music?

Yes!

Open the iTunes Store app on your iPhone.
Under the “Music” tab, scroll down to “Apple ID”.
Choose “View Apple ID.”. Then choose “Purchase History”.

I followed your directions. It took me to a history, but it only went back to 2009. Many of my music purchases were before that date. Can I access them by connecting my phone to my computer? My playlist on my phone does not show on my computer.
