Can I return an iPhone 11 bought from an electronics store to an Apple store to receive another one of different color?

Hello, I was given an iphone 11 bought, however, from an electronics store and with the year of apple warranty, my question is: I can return it to an apple store to receive another one of different color or you can not return it since not was not purchased at an apple store? Thank you.

The warranty doesn't enter into it. The "color" is not defective.

If you buy something directly from Apple, you have 14 days to return it for a refund.

Since it was purchased from another retailer, it is subject to that retailer's return policy.

now what exactly does this one-year limited warranty cover?

If it fails due to no fault of the user. It would be something like a failure in the electronics.

Apple may accept it for trade-in, but the trade-in value would be less than the price of a new one. Simply exchanging for color isn't something that Apple does for free.
