My Phone number is not an option on iMessage and FaceTime.

The title says it all, i have tried lots of things. My FaceTime en iMessage both work just fine, but im only able to use it using my apple id which is my email.

I do have a phone number connected to my iPhone and my apple id, but it just isnt showing up on the option 'Send and receive', only my apple id. And i would like to use my phone number to use these apps.

Hopefully someone can help!

Double check that the number is showing on your Apple ID. If you recently added the number, have you allowed time for the change to sync, then signed out of Messages/FaceTime, restarted, and signed back in?
