Phone Backup

The screen on my phone is no longer attached and my phone won't turn on. Is there a way I can back up my photos to my MacBook Pro before I get it repaired?

BACKUP? My phone was cracked and recieved heavy water damaged; and I have no phone access. Last check it said UPDATE PAUSED. We riced it for hours, and had a very little wondow of the phone being back on (but mostly green white hues) and thats when I backed it up again and purchased more icloud storage. I checked icloud.com, and still no photos. how do i back up photos since last update if my phone won't even turn on? Possible? I also have a MacBook if that helps? please help!

Nope.

backups need to be made before the device fails.
