Importing videos w/ Camera Connection Kit

iPad iOS12

Photos app only sees JPEG files, not MP4 or MOV.


Worked fine with older iOS versions. Naming is proper, videos were made with older camera and iPhone and placed in DCIM folder on SD card.


Perhaps one needs to use a different app?

Oddly we found the iPad did not like some SD cards. After trying 3 we found one that worked.
