Has anyone experienced these type of notifications? They are happening frequently all throughout the day. It creates an event on the calendar app to clear phone of malicious viruses. Is there a way to stop this?

That is a Rogue Calendar account. Go to Settings-->>Passwords & Accounts and under Accounts see if an unknown calendar account is listed. If it is then tap on it and then Delete account.
Note that it is not a virus. It is something that got added to your calendar because you may have accepted an offer from a pop-up on a website unknowingly. Please be careful out there,

It's not a virus. It's calendar spam you signed up to get.
I am getting it too. It says I have malware that’s affecting/damaging my battery and I need to download something to remove the malware. Is this a scam?
