Macbook won’t charge

My macbook air won’t charge or turn on, its currently dead and i have it plugged in but it won’t charge

What to Do When Your Mac Won't Power Up At All

Is the charger working?
Is the MagSafe cord in good shape?
Have you cleaned the contacts on the MagSafe connecter?
The Battery may be dead.
There may be a problem on the motherboard.
