AirPods work fine for a while and then suddenly right one would stop working

I have Airpods 1 and the problem is whenever I use them, both of them work fine for a while and then suddenly right one would stop working.They automatically disconnect and on reconnecting only one of them functions. I've tried resetting but it's also not helping. I dont seem to figure out the reason why this is happening.
