iPad disabled

I forgot my password and now the iPad says it is disabled and it needs to be connected to ITunes.

what can I do now considering that I do not want to set it up again and to miss all the content ?

If you have an pre-existing iTunes or iCloud backup, you’ll be able to restore you data from the backup. If you don’t have a pre-existing backup, then access to your locally stored data is already lost.
