The tip says Clorox disinfecting wipes as the only brand mentioned (they are not alcohol based). Generic isopropyl alcohol wipes are pretty much standard; they are the ones a nurse uses to clean your skin before an injection. Any brand that says 70% or higher alcohol content should be fine.
There’s a workaround if you have a bottle of rubbing alcohol. Take a small scrap of cloth, moisten it slightly, and make your own alcohol wipe. Don’t use gin or vodka; it isn’t strong enough. But Everclear would be fine.
