Ok, so im trying to pair my daughters Apple Watch with her iphone, so i try to update the Apple Watch but for some reason it didn’t update, it pause for over a day after that it didnt update, and now when i try to pair it is says its up to date (version 5.4.2) not 6.2 and it wont let me pair with my daughters iphone or any other iphone.

Okay, so this unknown-series Apple Watch is running watchOS 5-something and is paired with an iPhone XS Max running an unknown iOS version.
Current for the iPhone XS Max is 13.4.1. If the iPhone is not on iOS 13.4.1, update the iPhone.
Then...
Unpair the Watch from the iPhone, and try again.
If that fails then reset the Watch by erasing all its contents, and re-pair it.
If that fails, contact Apple Support.

th For your answer but im trying to pair it eith iphone xs max, the iPhone is up to date, but again the watch keeps telling me it needs yo update to continue pairing but when trying to pair it says up to date ( ios 5 not 6)
Which iPhone, which iOS, and which Watch series?
If you’re pairing with an iPhone 6 or earlier, that can’t be upgraded to iOS 13, which also means it’s incompatible with watchOS 6 and later.
