iPhone Not Backed Up warning

My iPhone apparently hasn't been backed up in over 3 weeks. I've been getting a message and it also says "Backups happen when this iPhone is connected to power, locked, and Wi.Fi".

My phone is plugged in every night and on WiFi. The only part I wonder about is the "locked" part. I use an app called "White Noise" that has a clock feature that stays on which seems to prevent the phone from locking. If this might be the issue is there anyway for the backup to happen without the phone being locked?

Thanks in advance.

Not automatically.

You can tap on "backup now" anytime you wish, but the automated process requires those 3 things.

There may be a risk of the manual backup not completing in this scenario. If the app creates open files, the backup may fail.
