Screen recording’s audio is noticeably out of sync with the video. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

As for the file itself, there may be a way of fixing this. But. play it on a projector with lip-sync options, and it would appear just fine.
I've got the same problem, and I have collected some data. I made screen recordings using an Apple pencil with Notes and using an Excel spreadsheet and an external keyboard. In both cases, I slowly typed the numbers 1, 2, 3, 4 while reciting them. Then I played back the recording on the same iPad. In both cases, the audio is 5 seconds behind the video.
If the internal microphone were muted, wouldn't that mean no audio at all?
While screen recording internal microphone is muted to prevent piracy.
