how do you delete one or all the emails in a Mac air?

Select the message, then


  • Edit > Delete, or
  • click Mail's Trash icon, or
  • press the Delete key, or
  • drag it to the Finder's Trash icon


... there are probably other ways.


To select multiple messages,


  • press the ⌘ key while selecting them, or
  • Edit > Select All, or
  • ⌘ A, or
  • ⇧ to create a continuous selection


... after which you can delete that selection.


Make a mistake?


  • Edit > Undo Delete Message, or
  • ⌘ Z, or
  • drag it out of the Trash, or
  • ... probably other ways I can't remember.
